Sorry to hear about your accident friend. Glad you are ok.

I'm kinda new to the forum, but eveyone on here is pretty cool. They helped me get a GMID last week. Took only 2 days for them to email it to me.

Good luck!

Go here to get a GMID if no one on this forum has an extra one for this month:

http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com...c,67302.0.html

They got me one 2 weeks ago. The pricing is fixed. No dealing or haggling required. It will turn out to be roughly 2% over Invoice. If you are buying an 06, you will also get 0% or $2500 off. You will also get $500 off for GM Supplier rebate. Print out this and bring to the dealer when you're ready to buy:

https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/GMVPP/...bonus_cash.pdf

If you are getting an 07, you will only get $750 cashback and no $500 GM Supplier rebate.

Klint

How much did you end up paying?

aslw
11-21-2006, 03:29 AM
Still working on that Klint....was trying for the last week to go lower than GMID because I am looking at the '06 model. But haven't had much luck negotiating. I might even just go for an '07 now, unless I can get a steal on an '06.

We'll let you know as I hope to get into one by next week. End of the month! That's what RYD says. They'll be more desperate for a sale at the end of the month.

Do you have any after damage foto's?

I've had Allstate for years. A few months back my daughter banged up her XB. Allstate made the prosess pretty painless. Kind of suprising.

Sorry about your wreck. Guess that 5-star crash rating is no bull. Good to hear that your injuries are minor. You realize that this makes you an official member of the Crash Dummy Society (I am what you could call one of their poster children). No offense, but you are now on the growing list of people who experience a high velocity crash and walk away, relatively unscathed. It's a testament to the safety engineering that went into the H3. It's probably better that your insurance company totals your vehicle. Now you get to experience the thrill of buying and driving a brand new one again! Remember that great smell? Take care.

Sorry to hear about the wreck.

On a 38, you'll see a discount of about 4G's. We got like 5.5G off a sticker of almost 41. The big problem is all the dealer add-ons you listed. They don't have to give you a dime off unless it is on the sticker. You'd be better off ordering an 07 exactly as you want it and then they have to give you the discount becasue all the options are on the sticker. Also, the more you spend, the better the discount. We were going to get one stickerd at about 36, but the discount was only around 3.5g's so went just went for one more loaded up on the sticker. We also looked at some stickered lower, but had tons of dealer add-ons, and the prices were silly cause the dealer charged retail for all the add-ons even to GMID customers. Some dealers might give you a discount on the add-ons, but they don't have to. If you can, shop around dealers with the GMID and see what the discount is on a similar priced H3. You might find some dealers do not really offer the "real" GMID discount. I haven't had this problem with GM yet, but it did happen to me with employee pricing on a Ford about 5 years ago. One dealer I went to I found was more than $1200 difference on a car that was only $200 difference in sticker price at a different dealer, no add-ons. The dealer I ended up buying the car from told me that some dealerships just print bogus invoices with bogus plan pricing and pawn it off like it is the factory invoice with the actual factory plan prices, or in my Ford deal, wouldn't show me paperwork, just the computer screen with the numbers and plan pricing, which are easily manipulated in a computer. Good luck!

Same here.. ..1st dealer fudged the GMID price.. 2nd dealer.. beat his price buy $600.00. 1st dealer printed out an Invoice from "GM Dealer World" ..Looked good ..but the options from the factory were probably jacked up . Search my threads for more info supplied by "F5stop"..

He explains excactly how it works.

Incentives for the '07 just got better....was $750 last week and now it's $1750. Good luck. Can't wait to hear what you get.

I'm hoping to be all set up in mine by next week. Still trying to decide between '06 or '07.

'06 has $2500 + $500 off , OR 0% fianncing

'07 has $1750 off but with 4.9% financing

Heh Aggiehummer,

In no way did I mean to Imply that GM Dealer World was a Fraud...If I gave that impression..please except my apologies. The way it was printed out looked funny to me. There were no option prices shown ..just a total price.

If some of the aftermarket stuff isn't covered, tru to correlate it to something OEM. When my brush guard got trashed in a t-bone collision, they initially balked at the brush guard because it wasn't OEM. When I told them that the OEM was more expensive to replace, they practically cut me a check on the spot for the aftermarket item. Play the game and get paid :perfect10s:
