Zamboni! never in my life have i heard so much about my automobile purchases, I'm taking more hits than bagdad. everyone seems to have a mouthful about my new 3! They're calling it "gas guzzler" or I'm supporting a "system that's bad" [meaning oil dependant], this weekend really took some educating on my part.

Anyone out there taking any heat for the same thing?

Get used to it!! I personally have never been on that end, but many here have. Basically you can come back at them and tell them it is not as bad as the H2 or H1. Or go tell them to look at ford and Dodge and all the others. PPL like to biatch no matter what you have. And if they don't like it, tell them your gonna buy a 2 or 1 next and drive by them everyday and honk.

I just smile and say thank you when people bag on me. I am not going to have a heart attack for some tree hugger. Fuk'em if they do not like my vehicle. I didn't buy it for others to approve of!!

Pretty Lousy Blaming H2s and H1s ,its sort of like your getting in bed with them and or blaming your brothers, maybe you should have a jeep or other imitation. Otherwise stand up like the guy says take it on the chin and tell em to F-OFF. The Rebel [and proud of it].

Wait, was that directed at me? who the heck is blaming 1 or 2's? I am just as tired of all the haters no matter what you drive.. Whether it be a Hummer, Ford or w/e. We buy what we like, not what everyone else thinks we should have.

I stopped counting the ?fingers? flipped my way after number 50.

I washed off the ?cola product? someone threw all over my H3 in the parking garage.

I?ve ignored the ?crotch prints? on my paint from the Hummer Humpers.

I?ve smiled at the hairy pitted earth mothers, glaring at me in the
"Whole Foods Market" parking lot.

I?ve laughed when my H3 has been referred to as an ?Alleged Hummer?, ?Earth Killer?, or ?Gas Whore?.

I just grin when called a ?Poser? or ?Pretentious?.

However, I damn near killed a man for saying ?Nice looking Jeep???.

Texas is after all, a concealed carry state and some insults simply can?t be ignored.

Note: All of the above is true except for the Jeep part.

Dallas can be a cruel town.

YOu my friend said Quote "Its not as bad as an H1 or H2 ". I stand by what I said. Take your own lumps don,t pass them to uninvolved brothers. But I certainly agree with your buying what you like, my sentiments exactly. Put some 35 inch tires on that baby and drive over em, relieve your frustrations. Regards The REBEL

After all the heat about:
Second childhood
Penis extension
First childhood
Gold chains
Stupid jokes about pricks on the inside
Mid life crises I, II, III, IV, V...etc.
I received when I bought my Vettes, Hummer trash talking bothers me not. Besides, for some strange reason, there are three Hummer dealers here in the land of the tree huggers and home for every hippie that couldn't make a go of it in California. I refer, of course, to Western Washington. The People's Republic of King County in particular. When the day is done, you forget what these Bozos even look like and remember what they said only if it was memorably funny, outrageous or stupid. It's 03:00 and I have to work four more hours. Sorry about the monologue. BTW, I plan to troll the Whole Foods parking lot in Bellevue on my day off tomorrow.:clapping: Maybe we could organize a "Hummer Happening" there.:jump:

No probs in SLC!
I've had a pretty pos. response, most people seem to like the H3.
And if they don't I could care less! I LOVE MY H3! :D

On Turkey Day a relative looked at my H3 and said my suzki wagon gets 35mpg.
I said at best the H3 gets 19-20mpg but look at everything it can do and I do use it off road.

PS I got about 17mpg on a 260mile Turky day trip including stop and go traffic on hwy 101 for about an hour.. Not too bad in my book.

end of story ... Game Over

Tell your relative that he has apretty shallow life if he spends his time worried about mpg. Tell em HUMMERS aren't about gas they're about quality of life ! Regards The Rebel

Wow, I am in Dallas and although I "thought" I would get some heat I have yet to have anyone say anything to me. I just thought everyone googled it by now and had been educated that jeeps and dodges are the worst...

Initially, I didn?t notice anything other than a few people asking/teasing me
about gas mileage or just commenting on the H3 being a little more plain on the inside than they would have thought. It was my passengers that brought all the one finger salutes to my attention. The ?cola? incident and crotch prints all occurred over the Texas/OU weekend (that?s a big thing here in the part of town I live in). Lots of college kids in an extremely altered state. Most of the other nasty comments regarding my H3 and H3?s in general, have come from those in-duh-viduals who think a H1 is THE ONLY vehicle worthy of the Hummer name. Of course, the closest they have ever gotten to a Hummer product is at the Auto Show.

I guess, I?ve become immune to that crap now or it has abated somewhat. Either way it doesn?t matter to me, as long as I LIKE MY H3.

However, the Whole Foods Market parking lot is still a hoot.

Like f5fstop said, WGAF what others think regarding one?s choice of vehicle.

Just tell the asshats that yesterday while taking on Moab you were worried that you were going to run out of gas...you searched and couldn't find a damn Prius ANYWHERE to siphon some from.

Yea, quote the EPA mpg numbers which is what most people do. Very few people really check (calculate) their gas mileage.

We don't hear much where I live. Of course, living in Lexington, Ky once you get outside the city limits Chevy and Ford 4X4's with 37's and lifts are pretty normal sights. Afterall, it is KY. There is a huge population of 1's, 2's and now 3's in Lexington. Range Rovers, Expeditions and Tahoes are 3 or 4 to every block in the city. Being a previous Tahoe owner, I know firsthand, they can't talk about mileage. I get the typical "a$$hole" looks every now and then, but nobody ever say's anything.:beerchug:

Next year cover your truck in KY jelly. It shouldn't hurt the truck and will get all over them when they try to hump it.:dancingbanana:

I used to have a Yukon Denali and some Greenpeace punk saw me get out on 68th and Columbus and asked "Would you like to save the planet?" So I said "See this truck right here? Does it look like I give a sh#t about the planet?"

Now I have an '06 M5 that burns 93 octane at 9mpg the way I drive and am in the market for an H3 which I hope gets just about the same gas mileage. Just doing my part to help the economy.

Next year I'll have to make sure I'm parked under one of the security cams.

Could make for some intersting footage to post on the forum.

(With or without the KY) :giggling:

BParker: It appears you have more than one clone. In addition to the one
I spotted T-Day night, there is yet another that has surfaced in Arlington.

Personally, I can't swing a dead cat wihthout hitting another black base
like mine. I've got to get some mods on mine---Pronto.....
