If you wondering why im posting this in the pics section, its because im gona post lots of snow pics soon.
Its like an early cristmas.:jump: :jump:
anyways check back friday to see my pics.:D
PS. I hope they dont clean the streets, small streets, by the time i get to play in the snow, cauze that would just suck! if its 16 inches i doubt they be clean!

:iagree:
And depending on the air temp, the pressure may drop by itself. I was just out driving in the -5* weather and my TPM came on. I filled them to 35 psi at 30* but -5 was too much for it :D

:iagree: X2 they air down themselves when its this cold . 12 degrees this AM :D i dont call it low tire pressure warning in the winter , its a cold tire pressure monitoring system :giggling:

alrite i got some pictures, but we didnt get as much as expected. We got about 6 to 8 inches where i live and around 5 at school. Anyways i got some play time and improvised a bit. Since there wasnt much snow to really test the 3 out, I started driving over the piles of snow left my the snow plows, did some donuts. no problems at all, over the snow piles i had no problem at all, even with out a head start, and was in 4 hi(unlocked) the whole time.
Had a great time before clas started in back of the school. This is the best 4X4 truck i have ever driven. heres some pics, not fancy or anything but its a Hummer and Snow...Enjoy!

that was it, hope you enjoyed it. sorry about putting so many pics, but i got like 60 pics so i wanted to post a bit of everything.
As i said it was awsome. The truck did way better than i expected, and the extra weight is great!, also on ice it was awsome, i got no sliding at all on about 1/4 inch of solid ice.
Gona go upstate tomorow to find some better snow, hopefully on some hill or something, cauze parking lots seem to be kind of flat.
Cant wait for the next snow storm. I give the H3 a score of :perfect10s: on performance!!!:jump: :jump:

You sir, are a madman! Wild stuff. Did you have other trucks or a Camry around in case you thought you might get stuck? ;)

Isn't it funny how the camera makes 6-8 inches of snow look like a dusting :giggling:
Seriously though...your driving on ice statement scares the crap out of me.
Have fun but be careful! :beerchug:

I always like to find a nice frozen parking lot at the beginning of winter and do some hard stops, spinouts and such to get back into winter driving. It's fun too!
The h3 sure likes the snow tho, it's harder to break loose on snow and ice than any other rig I've driven. So far the stock bridgestones are proving to be nearly as good as my old BFG ATs ... and that's high praise.

haha, no camry in case of emergency but a tow truck is a phone call away.:) just to clear things up, as i said before the deepest i got onto was around 5 inches. The first pictures are during the day and in those there was maybe 2-3 inches on the ground, and thats why i was going over the plow piles. For the pictures in the dark those are a bit up north, maybe 1 or 2 inches more. Forecasts were origionaly for 10-16, thus the title of the post "lots of snow", but unfortunately we got less than half that.
as for the ice i did get to ride on a parking lot with a very good layer of ice, i just wanted to see how the 3 handles, and it did great!
even though it wasnt much it was a good time, and im looking forward to 10-16 next time.:)
I wouldnt know about the bridgestones, i didnt get the offroad package, so i think i have the wranglers, but they still did very good.
SundayMoney i see you have a good taste in rescue vehicles, camry, is that to get it under a tire so you can get better traction, or how does it work?

Hi all!! New here, thought I would share my recent encounter with snow....
I live in central Missouri where we had at least 16" of snow and with the snow drifts 24". I am a 911 dispatcher so I HAD to go to work. On my way my boss called me because his Chrysler was not getting out of the driveway. We live in a small town of 2500 and the plows were not coming anytine soon so I went to get him. When he opened the door the snow was above the step bar!!! OMG!!! I made a path through his neighborhood and we were at work in no time. I have not one complaint about the performance of the H3 in the snow!! I had a blast in it!!
Barb :)
