Just completed switching over all door handles & mirrors to black, Line-X coating on chrome grill, and at the same time I had them coat the hood "breathers" and the leading edge of the rear wheel housings (they were getting really beat up from gravel & rocks thrown back at them!)

No more bling!

I think you need some Line-x bumpers to go with that....:D

Nice look. What kid of prep' work did they do for the rear fenders? I have been considering something back there myself.....

I pulled the fenders, they just taped off the area & sanded lightly before spraying. Easy to remove, three 7mm screws & pull hard to dislodge clips.

I love that roof rack where did you get it? Online? How much? Thanks.

That lineX is the best way to go with those rear fender flares! It seems to really take care of the paint chip problem that is occuring with road debris.

So you removed the Fenders yourself (you mean just the flares, yes?) and brought them to the shop to have them srpayed? Three 7mm bolts, and a hard pull to dislodge clips. Aything busted with that force?

I think I just found my new project!

It looks great and a great idea, since we got ours last week I have been looking into addressing what I saw as a potential problem.

Thanks

Aything busted with that force?

Nothing broke, and I was in my cold garage....tough clips! Just tug hard & fast (ohhh, that's an easy one to mess with, resist....)
