does anyone know if a license plate mount rearview camera will work on the H3, since the plate is located on left side of the vehicle. take a look at this link and let me know.

'm pretty sure u'd be able to use that..it's all about routing the wires that's going to be a little hassle I would think...

I guess your only concern will be if you off-road seriously. Look at the license plates of those who do serious off-roading, some look like the tops of opened sardine cans, so I would bet a license plate frame would be totally destroyed.

Im dropping of h3 today to have an eclipse nav /dvd /rear camera /auto start installed.We desided to put camera on right side of licence plate overhang flush mount .It should be protected off roading.

Whenever we do backup cameras, we mount them next to the trailer hitch receiver, on that same plate. It's protected from offroading there.

what if your H3 didnt come with a hitch yet?
I am planning to put a hitch, but for now, where should I put the cam?
Post pics with hitch or without mounted Cams.

Hey Agg, what brand of camera do ya'll use? What is the cost of getting it installed and where do you put the screen?
