That looks like something you'd buy for your GF/wife with a set of AA batteries.

I'm not sure I'd want one on my rig. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I took my antenna off because I mainly listen to XM. To my suprise, listening to FM is fine, even without the antenna. I never put it back on. Of course I'm in a big city, it might be different in the country.

I actually have one of the "normal" short wire antennas from them. Easy to install, looks great, and reception is nearly as good as the large whip antenna.

Post some pictures when you get yours installed.

Although those antennae look very nice, I'm not so sure I want to swap mine out. The longer OEM antenna warns you if you are about to hit a low hanging obstacle (i.e. tree branches, parking garage, fast food drive-thru, etc.) If the tip of that antenna hits something you know you're getting very close to scraping your crossbows or worse.

GreenH3, you are correct I was pulling into a parking lot and my antenna hit the over head entrance bar. Gave me a real quick wake up. I for one would leave the stock antenna just for the warning/reminder in gives you.
