HUMMER is giving the H3 a little more safari chic at the 2007 Detroit auto show (http://www.thecarconnection.com/Car_Shows_and_Concept_Cars/Detroit_Auto_Show/2007_Detroit_Auto_Show_Preview.S286.A11082.html) with the Open Top. By fitting the H3 with ASC's sliding-fabric, InfiniVu roof system, the H3 has a 'nostalgic' feel, according to GM, apparently reminiscent of cloth-top convertible utes of the past, but with good weather resistance and ease of operation. The InfiniVu roof is made of fabric panels that fold, accordian-like, while the top can be stopped and positioned at any point along the entire roof, rather than just fully open or closed.
