I noticed for the last few days of onwnership, (6th day now) that My H3 kind of looked tilted to one side. Today I took some measurements at the wheel well center's around the rig.

I found that the passenger side is 1-1/4" higher then the driver side. This is about the same for front to back. You can see it clearly from the rear as you stand in back and look at the rig. It's tilted ..!!

I remember a post about this, but couldn't find it doing a search. So now I guess I have to add this to the list of things to repiar at the dealer.
Any one remember this post and the Fix??

Was ther any kind of a service bulliten on this? Or is this just a Torsion Bar adjustment front and or a what ever fix in the rear. Kind of bugs me that it is this much off.

Half inch or so is no big deal but you can see easily that there's something is not right.:(

After some more searching..(Used f5's name to search posts) ..figured he'd be involved in this one...I found the thread....

Seems like a few think it's no big deal... well mine is very noticable..
You know what..It kind of ticks me off a little.. But I'm still glad I got a HUMMER from GM...My Girl friend wouldn't give me one..

I remember that thread but I don't remember any resolution. Also I don't remember anyone saying it was 1-1/4 difference. Mine sits with a little lean but not that much or that noticeable.

According to the thread... no one said anything about a resolution as far as the General goes or the dealer for that matter. So now ..WTF..??

There has been some dialog under torsion bar settings on this topic. It could relate to alignment as well and these two effect each other. But over 1" is dramatic lean. Take back to the dealer for resolution there is a problem...

Yeah that's where she's a going... Now ..we'll see how good this dealer really is. I'm mot that anal..but that much lean it's like having "To Quote F5" Opra in the rear Seat on the wrong side....

After you take your fat arse from behind the wheel ,give it a week and it'll straighten out. Grab a ratchet and 7/8 socket and crank driver side torsion bar adjustment bolt up about 2 turns. The Rebel

My Far Arse ain't do-en Squat....You may pay money for something and fix it yourself....Not me...The dealer with his Fat Arse wil fix it..That's what a warranty's for.

Either a fat chick or level driveway will probably fix it. But have a Happy New Year!

Hey ,good answer man, and I admire your perserverance if they get it right with out screwing nothing else up. Personally dealers and dealer stories have worn me down over the years. Goodluck. Regards The Rebel.:beerchug:

Good point Reb...!!

They'll get there chance to make it right. If they screw it up ..I'll be on them Like a Pit Bull Snort-en Gack..!! I don't go away easily. You can cause alot of "AGG" with a telephone and some well placed calls.

But..in the end If they can't do it right I'll get it done.

My was much lower on the drivers side, I took it to the dealer and the chick there gave me **** before she finally got soemone to adjust it. It took about 10 minutes, and they leveled it out perfect. About a week later it settled right back down, and now it's off again. :(
