I have been having trouble with the washer spray on the rear wiper. Had it in the shop two weeks ago and worked for 1 week and then started only spraying on the bottom third again. Anyone else having this problem. Like I said, had the shop fix it once and it happened again. I have an hour drive to the dealer and would like to know if anyone has an idea on the fix before I get there. They obviously didn't fix it right the first time. Thanks for any help.

Mine originaly was working fine and they replaced it .I got a letter in the mail.
The rear wiper shares the tank with the front, there is no seperate tank.

Mine crapped out after heavy use in snow country (at Lake Tahoe), they replaced it and so far, so good.

Had mine replaced during the intitial recall and the pump still is a piece of crap. I think that because it shares the same resevior with the front wipers it can't pump the fluid efficiently enoough to be able to spray the entire rear window. Plus, the resevior in the front is not in the ideal spot for the rear pump as the resevior is below the level of the pump and all the way in the back making fluid transfer difficult. Anyone have any bright ideas as to how we can remedy this? Fabing some type of nozzle to fit over the spray tip to concentrate the stream of washer fluid...I don't know....or GM puts in a even more powerful pump and a wiper that goes more than 45 degrees.

Dont use mine much 'cuz you cant see anything out of the back from the little cleared area.

I think the recall was for the rear wiper motor.

I was in Tahoe 2 weeks ago, just in time for a 5 feet dumping over the weekend! Snowboarding was awesome that whole week!!!!!

Yea, visibility out the back is limited. It's easier to keep the little dime sized glass on my Hitchcam clean so I can see out the back.:)

i dont really have any prolems with mine. It sprays the whole length of its motion, and i find it enought to be able to see out the back. I still cant figure out why they would make it go only 2/3 of the way. sorry im not of any help thou.

:iagree: that lens gets dirty,How about we design a small wiper blade for it.:jump:
It wouldnt be hard to add a squirter above it.http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

That would be cool, like the little squirter/washers on my Litronic headlights on my Porsche!
