I can get GMS plan on the H3 or friends/supplier on the JK. The price is pretty close to the same.
do you need a lift on the H3 to run 35's like the JK does? what are some other benefits for the H3

NO LIFT NEEDED but you may want to level it with a kit or turn the tor bar. buy the adventure and your set with a factory locker and 100 k warrn.

thanks for the help
Your welcome, enjoy your new heep. You should get accustomed to the term "death wobble". Don't worry you'll figure it out after you add the lift to fit 35's.:clapping:

Its kinda like going on a food forum and asking if you should try the
"Sun Dried Tomato with Pomagrante Crusted Pompano" with a side of "Almond Coated EggPlant Tartare"
or
A Big Mac & Fries
Why go on the HUMMER FORUM and ask if you should buy the JK !!!!

get one of each
I wish:)
It depends what you are going to do with your rig.
Have you had a 4x4 before? More off road or highway. Do you want to do a build up?
The 4-door Rubicon JK looks pretty darn good. It is still a Jeep. Removable roof and doors, water leaks, wind noise. The black hard top will get hot fast fast in the sun. Off road with front and rear lockers and more flex with the sway bar dis-connect system it will excel
The H3 with the Adventure Package is a great package and soon to be available with a V8. The H3 is very comfortable and stable on and off road. You can put a roof rack on the H3 easier than the JK. The H3's 4x4 system is more complex (electronic swithces instead of levers etc) It also has independent front suspension which makes lifting it more difficult.
I still have my TJ but drive it only about once a week now.
Enough said since I have said it all before. Get what you want and enjoy it while there is still gasoline and open trails to explore.

JKs Set New World Record
http://forum.jkboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=3004
two Jeep? Wrangler Unlimited vehicles set a new world record by climbing 6,646 meters (21,804 feet) to the volcano?s rim. The achievement, certified by Guinness World Records?, is not one that is likely to be easily beaten.

The H3 is more comfortable and roomy. And the Jeep isnt, but you can pull down the jeeps top and take off the doors. Each as its own pros and cons such as the Jeep can ford 30 inches but the Hummer can do some things the Jeep cant. Either one is a good car you just gotta get it and have fun. And i hope your talking about the 4 Door wrangler thats the nice one, i always thought that was a great looking SUV

I am on both forums and appreciate both vehicles for what they are. I am not closed minded like others on these boards. I like all offroad vehicles, I am trying to find the most information so I will be well informed to make the right decision that best fits my needs. I went and test drove the H3 today and would have probably wrote up the deal but I was told two different things from two different salesman there. So I came home to look up the info. I built an H3 and got the GMS price on it which was what the dealer told me then according to the gm website under current offers, there is 2500 in rebates on 07 H3's. Then on Hummer's website there is an addition free sunroof. I was told this exact thing yesterday but today at the dealer, the rebate turned into 1550. Am I reading something wrong?

Well after doing lots of thinking this weekend and talking with the wife I have decided I really want the JK. I stopped buy a dealership last night and looked at an H3 and was looking at it thinking its not bad, just no removable top, and the looks are ok. Then I went down the street to the Jeep dealer and looked at the JK. Thats when I realized I love the JK. If I cannot get a deal worked out on a JK to where they are not raping me on my trade I am going to just keep my G6 and buy a used TJ. Either way I am going Jeep.

I am still here because I was just trying to get a question answered. I was still thinking maybe the H3 because I dont go offroad very often and thought that would be a better choice for driving on the street with.

The rebates vary day to day, one day you could have 3000 in rebates and the next none, so those vary often. And either one is going to get done what you want to do, go drive both and get whcih one you like best, or if they feel the same then buy whichever one to you looks better. And i hope your talking about the 4-door wrangler
