Traded a 06 base today for a 07 Victory Red Adventure package. I got a $2500 rebate, a $1000 "conquest" rebate because I also own a non GM Vehicle. I only had to prove I owned it, I did not have to trade it.

So I got 100k warranty, a 3.7L engine with NO lurking potential head problems, got real close on the trade in to the pay off on the 06. I got 5% at my credit union, so the payments went down $120 a month compared to the 06.

Seems like there has to be a catch somewhere. Seems too good to be true.

The 3.7L engine is a definte improvement.

Is your 07 the latest one? Does it have the relocated window controls and does it have the cubby hole in front of the shifter?

Yes, was made 02/07. The new door panel is really nice, but I keep grabbing where the door handle was on the 06. The handle is now in the middle of the door.

Conrats. And give us a little more feedback on your observations on the 3.7L versus old 3.5 motor.

I got my '07 in october and I have a cubby in front of the shifter. Since I havent really been in a '06 i cant compare the interior changes. I dont know if the window controls have changed location. Can someone post pictures?

The OLD window controls are on the BACK HORZ part of the door grab/arm rest (where your elbow sits)

The NEW controls on on the FRONT VERT part of the doorgrab/arm rest

SO...

The latest latest 07 has forward window controls and a cubby in front of the shifter as well as the 3.7 engine

I got 23500 for the 06 base, It had 15600 miles. I owed 24700, but the $ 1000 "conquest" rebate made the trade in Vs payoff a wash. The 3.7 L engine is a lot better, downshifts a lot less under load.
