Are OEM and Aries roof bars created equal?

I have been looking at some new Roof Bars on eBay and they are not OEM, but claim they are the same. Anyone familiar with them? Should I get them or pay the extra for the OEM ones?

I have a set of Aries and I'm not impressed by them. One doesn't clamp tight to the roof channel and will move easiily if you grab it.
One of the plastic lock covers had a broken tab on it. I emailed Aries to get a replacement and they never responded.
Wish I would have gotten the OEM.
