View Full Version : How To Freak Out The Bank Teller At The Drive Up Window

Went to the bank to day to make a deposit. Since it was a business check I went to the far Left hand side along the wall that has the drawer the the teller shoots out.

I have not been there in my 3 as there other drive up sections are old and the air tube carrying system is ancient and low to the ground. I received a letter saying they had up graded to a new higher more SUV/Truck friendly system.

Since I had a Business check I went to the side mentioned above.
Now.....This is my first trip thru this tight maze with the 3. So.....
I pull in and started down the lane towards the teller. There is no left hand curb at the entrance....

However ...the curb comes around from the left the closer you get to the teller window. .....ahhh I didn't notice the 12" High left hand curb untill I smacked into it and shot the 3 up into the air.

Not wanting to look like a smacked ass and stop and back up...I continued down to the teller window and stopped as she pushed out the drawer. At this point I decided to act as if nothing were wrong. I smiled at her and said good morning and undid my seat belt and climbed part way out the window and drooped the check in the drawer.

She took the check and started to process it with a I want-a laugh my ass off but I Can't.... Look on her Face. I looked around to see if any one had noticed that the left side of the 3 was about 2 feet in the air on one side.

There were a few people staring ..but I acted as if nothing was wrong and turned up the monsoon system. the drawer opened and I climbed out and said thank you ...she smiled and pulled the drawer in as I drove down the remaining 15 feet of curb and bounced back to asphault...

That was cool...

Think About it Dude... Skate Boarders do it all the time down railings ...steps ..all natural Urban stuff. Pedal Cycle dudes ride all over that stuff.....Why not sneak your 3 out late at night and climb a few steps or drive up grass-y grades around town..

I did the same thing trying to turn into a parking lot when some a-hole was blocking the entrace (as a result of red-light).

However, a cop just happened to be watching me from the parking lot and very quickly administered me a $200 "overtaking on the right" ticket. :lame:

I don't get it...what the heck is so funny about someone that can't keep their vehicle on the road.Every time I see someone driving over a curb,I always wonder where they ever got their license. Here in Florida these old people do this all the time. What's next, confusing the brake with the gas and driving through someone's front door. That would really be hilarious,I guess.

Have you ever Accidently Bumped a curb or hit one a sharp angle or had a traffic accident..or done something with your car that was due to your driving..??

If there is no one here who has... then I'm the only one plus the poster's who have also admitted to Screwing up.

Judging by your sig.. "We Were Soliders Once" you have to be over 50... you must be one hell of a good driver.:fdance:

I've done all those, but I just never thought they were funny at the time. Anyway, anyone who's been to Nam and back has my respect, and if you think it's comical, then so do I.I guess I'm just getting grumpy in my old age. Thanks for your service to our country and "Welcome Home"
