She sent me an email......

With fuel prices steadily rising across America throughout 2007, many consumers thought spiraling fuel costs would be the death knell of big Hummer SUVs. However, the strong presence of these go-anywhere vehicles has kept interest alive enough for the company to introduce a new version of the H3 for the 2008 model year.
The H3 Alpha is at the top of the H3 lineup, offering higher performance as well as increased luxury. The added performance is courtesy of a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 300 horsepower, which gives the Alpha a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds?a 33 percent increase over the standard H3. A Chrome Appearance package, 16-inch chrome wheels, a 4.10 rear axle ratio and special Alpha identification, including a prominent tailgate badge, horn pad badge and embroidered front headrests with the Alpha insignia also help differentiate this special H3.

I want one...

So now I have to see how serious she is.:clapping:

"Increased luxury?" Why, due to the Alpha emblems or the embroidered seats? Those are the only items you can't get on other H3s.

I dont think it should come with the chrome appearance package, also is it only coming in Automatic, cause my friend wants one but will only buy it if it comes in manual?!

Yeah try and keep one foot on the brake, one on the clutch and then give it enough gas to safely take off on a 35% grade..

That's one reason why a handbrake works better than that floor mounted parking brake.

So true. we were climbing some rock face nothing big in Sedona but the guy couldn't slip the clutch and gas it right to get it up so he banged several times. He was no rookie it's just you have to burn that clutch to work it smooth. Automatic is easier fo sure
