Just got my Viper SST 5900 Alarm Installed today by JC Motorsports. They did an excellant job. No nicks dings dents or scratches on the dash or interior anywhere.

They also installe the Super Bright Blue L.E.D. on the left side top of the insterment panel. It's about 1/8 " in diameter and flush with the dash. When the alarm is on it Blinks off and on. At night it lights up the complete front of the 3's interior!!

About 20 min ago the neighbor across the road called me to let me know there might be something wrong with my 3. He said there was this flashing blue light coming from inside my rig.

I laughed and explained what the blue light was. He laughed also.. It is funny when I look out their .. Kinda looks like the whole drive way is lit up....Freaken Alien's

Congrats man! Glad they took good care of the rig while they were wiring it up. :clapping:
That dash light sounds cool. Hopefully it will deter the riff-raff.

yea the leds viper uses are pretty nice. when my 3 and the other car are in the carage and the alarms are on its like a light show in there, the whole thing is lit up.

enjoy your new alarm and peace of mind.

Yeah..it's piece of mind. But more then that ...if it is stolen..at least I know I made the effort to protect it.

Thanks... It's a brandy new facility. The Owner has been doing alarms and other auto related things for 15 years. The guy knows his stuff and has worked on HUMMER'S in the past.
I found him on the Viper web site under authorized distributers.

Yeah ..the Blue Riff Raff..:jump:

Yesterday I remote started the 3 about 3 blocks from outside the casino when I left. it was nice and cool inside when I got in.When I leave in a few min ..I'll try starting it with the A/C on from inside the casino to see if it works.

This well tell me if the system can alert me inside in case of a Riff Raff break in..

Cool, but don't complain when the gas mileage goes single digits.http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Yeah the winter remote start thing is a +. But I was mostly interested in the Viper Quality and features when I bought it. Gotta keep those pesky car rippper offers at bay.... Well the best you can.
