View Full Version : Well, look at this jack@ss
So I turn into a mall and notice a white H3 parked at a restaurant. As I drive by, I notice there's a bunch of writing all over it. Upon closer inspection, the WHOLE truck is covered in vinyl lemons, with writing on the rear quarter windows and rear window. It said the following:
-24,000 kms Engine Problems Started
-60,000 kms Problem still not resolved
-HUMMER is STILL Burning Oil
On the passenger side it said the following
- GM Won't take it back
- Schlueter won't take it back
- ANY SUGGESTIONS ???
email: ckitchen_3@sympatico.ca
The crowd around the vehicle thought it was hilarious, laughing their asses off. This pissed the hell out of me, I've never owned a more reliable vehicle, and this 'tard gets some bum luck and makes himself a rolling billboard of just how bad he is at negotiating with HUMMER.
Man, for a lemon, he sure drove quite a distance in it.

I think this guy is doing the right thing if he is unhappy. If he lives in an area like mine, he probably only has one Hummer dealership, so his message gets out to anyone who sees his truck. I don't know what his situation is, but he obviously pissed and think he has a beef.
But of course, most of you have me on "ignore" since I dared to bring up quality problems with my H3 .

There are other ways to handle your problems, and that should be a last resort.
It's like picketing McDs cause they didn't replace a bad hamburger. Even if you get a replacement you better check it for loogies.
Besides, nobody in that town will buy it now, if he ever wants to sell.

I looked at the pic again, and the lettering looks really slick ... all straight, perfectly even, no wear, no glare and no dirt around the edges. Even the lemons are all at the same (or opposite) angle.
Sure, might be a professional job ... or is it a photochop?

Yes, knock down a whole line of vehicles because of one supposedly bad apple. If you saw the reaction people had when reading this garbage, you would have seen that they accomplished nothing with this, other than having lots of smartass typical anti-hummer talk.
He should get a lawyer and consider all his options, not go around whining and DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR 60,000+ KMS if it's a lemon.
Do you think this AH ever had the brainwave to go online and talk to people who might have had the same problem? Do you really believe he called HUMMER and told him about all his problems? He probably dealt with GM Canada, THROUGH his dealer.

Let me be the first to say- again- I love my H3 and I really don't wanna get rid of it. HOWEVER after having similar issues with my H3 as the person with the white H3 someone posted a pic of- I'm tempted to do the same to my H3.
If this is the only way they feel that they can get satisfaction- then so be it. My H3 has turned out to be a massive piece of crap but it doesn't change the fact that I love my H3.
Call me bitter- but if GM can't stand behind their product- I refuse to promote it. If someone asks me how I like my H3- I don't hesitate to tell them: I love it but....
i'm dealing with a lawyer and the better business bureau. Then I'll see what I do.

RYD couldn't have said it better, with age comes experience and wisdom. Wisdom to know there's more to the story than meets the eye and blasting the guy on the internet without knowing those details is blind allegiance to the Hummer marque.

I think R Y D is right ,their is probably more to story. I wish picture was a little lower as you can usually see a little residue from an oil burner. Hard to believe truck still runs good if burning oil with O 2 sensors and all. He sure keeps it clean for someone who doesn't like it. Sometimes G M can be very stubborn but I would think they would want to settle this. I guess every company is composed of some people eager to do a good job and some that should be fired. Would our T. O. friend maybe inquire and give us a little blog with more detail, just in case guy is a chronic complainer. Thanks The Rebel

First, how old are you? You're a class A hypocrite, you're telling me not to judge someone without knowing their problems, yet you're judging the amount of wisdom I have?:fdance:
"With age comes experience and wisdom, wisdom to know there's more to the story than meets the eye?"
Should I point out EVERY part that is wrong with that statement in relation to what this guy is doing?
#1: I knew not to judge something without knowing full details when I was around 12. If that's the most wisdom you've got out of your years, well you've been :OWNED: by age.
#2: HE'S the one PUTTING IT IN OUR FACE. He can very well WRITE OUT MORE of what his problem is. He's not. He's crying and trying to smear **** for GM and the dealer, instead of taking care of business. He's a cry baby, and you're defending him. Maybe you like those tactics, I DON'T. You claim not everyone has the internet, well, he includes his email address, so what does that tell you? If he has email addy, he can certainly create a simple website and explain in full detail his problems.
#3: If he's willing to blast GM and HUMMER in public and make a joker of himself, I'm willing to post his stupidity on the internet. He's not accomplishing anything except giving out false info on H3 reliability.
This is the first time I've seen anything like this, he's whoring his problems and still riding the vehicle. Who knows, maybe the truck is perfectly fine and he's getting some kickbacks from Toyota or Chrysler...
He seems like the classic "The truck had a problem, I WANT A NEW VEHICLE OR NOTHING" kind of customer.
HEY RazM??You said he or she had their E-mail on the truck??You should post it ASAP.Let the ELCOVIANS deal with him.........
Yup, the email is in the first post.
He's too busy trying to make a problem for the dealership than to get the issue resolved. Anyone who goes through the trouble of placing vinyl lemon's and writing all over a truck certainly has money, and certainly has the time to make a website and explain all his problems in detail. He doesn't want help, he wants attention.

Either way, I think he is handling this like a first grader. As far as not being able to afford a lawyer, Im calling BS on that. There are several firms the advertise on the radio the specialize in lemon laws and offer a no down payments and no payments unless a case is settled. It really makes you just look like an idiot now matter how old, educated, whatever. You guys are right older should mean wiser, which means you should be smarter about the way you handle things. You mean to tell me you have the balls to put Hummer on the front, show me video of it off road and tell me you not going to cover any trail damage?
I would be at the toyota dealer faster then 123. Oh and I want to speak to the dealership GM or owner now. Want me to write lemon on the side and park it on the curb every Saturday? That will cost you more then a repair of my rig trust me.
It works.........
