Following my setup (and static noise issue). Can anyone please tell me what is the function of the small connector (the right black one in the picture) that went into my original head unit?

If you look at the picture you will see two connectors. The left one connects to a PAC harness and that connects to my Infill G4.

But the right one (has only one green/black wire going into it) has no where to be connected now.

Any ideas what it did in my original head unit? or where it should go now (maybe it's the cause for the static I'm getting?)

Many Thanks in advance for your help

Uhh... I believe that they are some sort of connectors that connect one thing to another...Call it a guess, but there're probably some pieces in the dash that look like they have pointy things and I'd bet you that they connect and help connect everything together. My 2 cents.

:jump:

I'm sorry. Just being and a$$hole....:dancingbanana:

donno if it may be the source of your static, but i think you may be using the wrong inteface.

the one i used with my install had places to connect both of those connectors. I used a peripheral GMAH24B. but if you dont have the monsoon setup its GMAH24.

heres a link to the interface, you can see it has a contector fo that wire. http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=276

oh and can you also check if you are getting good sound from your left rear speaker
