Manual
Each have advantages and disadvantages off road. For me, the deciding factor is I prefer a manual fo every day driving.

http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon2.gifTheres a 3 point turn ...a extra move(back/ forth) gives you a 5 point turn :giggling:

I guess if you dont count the first foward you would be right, but if you swung foward at the top(after stopping)it would be 5.:D
I ask the drivers ed kids how many points are there in a 3 point turn if you need to back up again to avoid hitting the curb.
They all say 4 and its acually 5.

I've been up Lion's Back twice and counting points in the turn around is the least of my worries but ya you're right.:D

I got the luxury and adventure with the manual. Rare find indeed. Wouldn't touch an automatic.

manual. But, that is my preference for daily driving a slightly underpowered vehicle. :D
I also enjoy the crawl ratio of the manual. :excited:

I dont see what the problem is.
1: forward
2: back
3: forward
4: drive in reverse down the road in an h3 where you can bearly see out the back window.
i prefer auto in the 3, i only want stick in a sports car, or coupe, anything of that nature. Eclipse, 2008 accord, audi tt..u kno. Ive never driven a stick hummer,
but i drove my dads big rig once,(had to change gears before i hit 3mph) and it was unpleasent.

I had to ordered mine Lux w/ manual, my dealer said there just aren?t that many out there because there are not that many people under thirty years old that know how to drive them anymore (unless they are sports car drivers).
My 3 officially should have started being built yesterday, hope to see it in the next couple of weeks!:dancingbanana:

I got the 5spd just for the fact that I'm a control freak, and Auto Tranny makes me worry about the RPM's, yeah I know im paranoid. But I like the 5spd, and control over acceleration gears.

Manuals are great untill you get stuck in a traffic jamb for a couple of hours.
As old injuries become more apparent as I get older; the more I like my Automatic Tranny.

I got an Lux/Adv with an automatic.
But now I'm thinking I need a second one, an Adv. with a manual and 35's ......
:D
I think my dealer about passed out when I told him I wanted a manual. Unfortunately, I ended up having to settle for an automatic because I was told hey couldn't find an H3x fully loaded in my color (sonoma red) with manual. Even though I love my car, I am still debating whether choosing color and other options over manual was a mistake.

I had to skip the adventure pkg in order to get the manual. The dealer searched the entire country and couldn't find one (I did some searching of my own too). We had to bring one in from across the state as it was to get a blue one.
Now I just need to get an elocker and get it put in.

I feel your pain. But when I got mine (2005) there just weren't any H3's on the lot. So i got to order mine with exactly what I wanted. :excited: I did have to wait two months, but it was worth it!

oh, fun fact.
When I was looking for my h3
2007 black adventure with...all that good stuff. i went to the dealor, and dealors dont want to tell you who has it if they dont, because if they did, then you would drive over and get it. so they would say "we can do a dealor trade" or something like that. Anyway long story short
Call 1800-real-4wd or is it 1888-real-4wd.( go to hummer.com to get the phone number) and tell them what your looking for, and which states you want them to look in, and they will tell you if its available.
They always get back to you within a business day or so. They will even email you the facts that they found, and the price and all that good stuff. Im in georgia, and me and my dad drove to South Carolina for mine (bradshaw hummer) And they were nice guys.
So anyway. HUMMER.Com for the number and tell them what you want and where you want to get it.
