...to become a HUMMER Academy Instructor for the new Academy opening here in Bahrain :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

Will be there 4th-9th November if anyone nearby wants to get together for a cold one :beerchug: ... dunno where I'm staying yet mind you!

Don't mention anything about the H3's front diffs. Those people tend to over-react by cutting heads off.

Thanks.... as for Bahrain? .... it's, well.... beige, very very beige - looking forward to seeing some proper greenery and hoping for rain in Indiana :dancingbanana:

Also...Be careful if you plan on going to Indianapolis, I'm sure you've heard of the infamous "hip-hop square" or if you do, just be prepared, skip breakfast...they tend to push foreigners to the front!!!!!

Dude I was just being a smartass...you know, like "chop-chop" square in Riyadh...they push idiots like me to the front of the line to get the "up close and personal."

You will have the time of your life! The guys at AM General know their stuff and will teach you more than you think about the hummer lineup! It will be an experience you will not soon forget! I'm there at least twice a year since I live a couple hours away and work for Hummer and I always have a blast and learn something new everytime I go! Enjoy!

Not a 100% sure on that yet... H2 & H3 probably as we won't have a H1 course at our Academy here as far as I'm aware.... :beerchug:

Oh, is Bahrain anywhere near Dubai? I saw a "60 minutes" on Dubai, and that place looks like a nice vacation spot.

Yep - about a 55min plane ride away.... MASSIVE construction going on down there - one report suggested around 50% of all of the worlds cranes are in Dubai... and it's a busy place!... I prefer Bahrain - smaller, but quieter in comparison.

Gutted.... just got round to putting this on here... upshot is that the trip (for me and 5 others) was cancelled 8hrs before the flight out of here - 3 did go (they reckon the H3 Alpha is awesome - apparently).... reason was some kind of disagreement between here and GM Middle East - dunno the details and not too interested either, but gutted nonetheless.

Penned in for the next trip, so we'll see what happens... spent the week I SHOULD have been in Indiana doing stuff for the Academy here - not the same mind you - even took unpaid leave from my "proper job" for this trip :rant:

Ah well... next time I'll post about it when I'm in South Bend "just in case"!!!!
