Is it possible to add Leather seats to an Adventure Package, without adding the whole Luxury package?

One dealer told me I could do it for $1500, and another told me it's not possible. Does anyone know??

Anything is possible, but I would seriously doubt that any H3 dealer has such a configuration sitting on its lot. That means you'll have to order it and wait for a build date.

As a result, you'll probably find yourself at the end of the queue for quite some time. GM is going to allocate all its leather seats to FULL Lux packages first and only then to you.

Unless there's an excess supply of leather seats sitting around, this sounds like the sunroof problem -- i.e., they'll go first into the highest margin vehicles (Lux + Adventure + other options) unless and until demand drops off.

Thanks bjc. In order for me to get the deal I am getting, I have to order the truck anyway, so that's not a problem. I'm just wondering what the price is for Leather w/o the entire Lux Package.

As far as I know there is no such option to get the leather without going with the lux package. The dealer that told you they could is most likely going to have leather added after they get it.

We have been doing aftermarket leather for people, and it's coming out great!!! A few people have done blk/yellow lthr in their yellow rigs and one guy did blk/red in his red....They come out awsome!!

There was a leather option when the H3 first came out but now its incorporated into the Lux package and that's the only way to get it from GM.

My Dealer has sever H3 on the lot with aftermarket leather installed. With the exception of the power/heated portion you almost cant tell the difference.

yeah...only advantage is two-tone with embroidery on seat and piping...basically you're paying for the "custom look" other the that the LUX package offers a better deal

You can add after market leather to just about anything. The leather is made to match the factory but it is usually a better quality leather. Notice the leather on the window sticker says "leather seating surfaces". The after market leather is all leather. Personally i would call aftermarket shops in my area and get quotes rather than having the dealer send your truck to the same shop but with their mark up included in the price.

My dealer had an after market leather job on the showroom floor and it looked great. In fact, I intend to go that rout myself. I was told it cost around $1700.00.

The factory leather is only on the seating surface areas. you can take it to a custom auto upholstery shop and get the same inserts or go for an off color for a bit of drama...at a fraction of what GM will charge you for leather seats.

On a related topic...don't you guys just love these seats? It's 10X better than our H2's seats ever were.
