i got to admit the one thing I liked on the Wranler Unlimited is the fact the doors come off. I wouldnt mind having the front doors off the H3 in good weather but all the power options and the doors look like theyd be heavy!!!

Could you use those odd connectors that attach in the door jambs of a jeep? I dont know what they are called, they are a kind of contact switch that enables you to take the doors off without dealing with the mess of wires. The H3 may require you to use multiple connectors, but it could work.

I starting looking into this a couple years ago too. I had removeable doors on my XJ and loved it. Never did get around to doing it on the H3, but I was thinking it would be easy to put on a quick-disconnect w/multiple conductors. My wife's JK has power in her doors and there are just QD connectors - very easy to remove. I'm not sure where you could put them - the JKs are routed through the front inside of the door panel so the QD doesn't get crushed every time you close the door.

Thats what I was thinkin, there has to be a way since the new Wranglers have power options on doors. Even better, some safari or canvas doors for the H3! Too bad nobody will ever make them
