That sucks!!!!! Did you ever get your total quote to get everything fixed up? That's one more reason to get that tire mounted off the back door. I think an H2 style tire carrier would have held up well in that situation.

It's kinda been a fiasco..
Took it in last Saturday, they call me Monday saying they've got it all together and are getting the parts ordered.. I asked what the price tag was.. @ $1400.. I asked for a parts list.. They rattled off all the stuff about the bumper, mounts, taillight and the scuffed up corners.. I told 'em they might wanna go back and check again and look closer at the door and tire carrier since there was some damage there.. I gave 'em a call Thursday to see how it was all coming together and they told me they expected to have it all back together on Friday. I asked about the rear door and the guy was clueless about it, but said he'd check on it.. I stopped by on Friday and they were still clueless and when we looked at the rear end all of a sudden "THEY" found a problem with the door. It was bent out of shape due to the impact and would require replacing the door. Umm.. Yeah.. On top of this issue, there was NO WAY they would have had it ready on Friday.. They hadn't even pulled the bent parts off...
Planning on giving them another call in the morning and see what I can find out..
