Check with Scot at Southern Axel. He is selling rebuilt units. The case has caused some delay in shipments.

PS. Just to make sure I wasn't overcharging you, I went to car-parts.com and searched for a front diff. From the ones that prices listed, they started at 750 bucks and went to 1350.
