I have the heated washer system. i bought my H2 about 6 months ago and have yet to use the system. I tried it tonight with bad weather here in NH and it didnt work! . I have an 06 and just recently got the recall fuse install taken care of but have never tried it out. I pressed the button and it started to click like a a timer for about 30 seconds and then started clicking very rapidly. Nothing squirted out and the wipers didnt move. I pressed the button to shut it off and wouldnt shut off unless i shut the truck off. Tried it a few times with same result. I am now wondering if there is a different resovoir for the heated washer fluid? and its empty? I'll check that tommorrow. Its under warrenty still, so i can always drop it off at the dealership.

The heated windshield washer fluid comes from the same reservoir. Mine works fine and does NOT make any clicking sounds. All you do is press the lower button (heated washer) once. It takes about 30 seconds to start spraying. The wipers turn on. Then after the first round, it heats again and begins spraying. It does this 3 times with about a 30 second lull inbetween sprays while it's heating. You don't hear anything. Did you takes yours back yet for the heated windshield washer recall on '08's?

Brought it in yesterday. They said it was the "heated washer module" they are ordering me new one. The paperwork says its Part# 15949649....$248.00. Its covered under warrenty.

Glad they found the problem. Good to have that part number, thanks!
When I bought my '08, it had the heated windshield washer feature on it. I thought .. what a waste of money .. who would use that, especially when I don't live in a snow zone. Well, now I LOVE that feature! I use it when bugs get stuck on the window and it clears them right off, whereas the regular (cool) water won't. Getting spoiled ..... :giggling:
