Wanting to paint my Chrome brush gaurd black. Don't really want to powder coat it because I don't want it to be smooth. I like the way my old hummer looked. What do you think will be the best paint to give me this look?

I did that exact same thing with my brush guard. I used galvanized gutter primer on the chrome guard and then sprayed flat black Rustoleum over that - it has worked well.

They make textured powdercoating. A good opowdercoating shop should havean endless selection. I've used bedliner spray before for small stuff it works great. Whatever you use make sure to rough up the surface so the paint has something to bite into.
