What brand of motor oil and filter you all recommend for the H3 L5 engine :confused:

I'm using a Fram Toughguard filter and Royal Purple. Runs great.

Good results with 5 30 syn...
Mobil 1 and lately Castrol syn
I like the filters with the grip on the bottom. So when I change it no tool needed to put on and off.:beerchug:

5W30 mobil 1 syn with fram filter (grip on bottom) filter since 2nd oil change.
Changed every 5 to 6 K(less then 1/2 of what monitor says through on star)
Im at 62K (about 9K towing 4,000 lbs) and still runs as smooth as new.

I use Synthetic oil and Delco filters but will most likely switch to all Amsoil product in this vehicle due to the extended changes. Here is a good read on filters.
