OIl Pressure

What would cause my oil pressure gauge not work until it runs for ten minutes? It will show oil pressure after ten minutes. It has 49000 miles and its an 06.

If it's like my '08 it doesn't have a oil pressure gauge, only a water temp gauge. Probably why it takes a few minutes for the needle to move.
