need help removing roof rails on h2

How difficult are they to remove?
I assumed you can simply unscrew the knobs and they come off but for some reason some of the knobs barely move. I have gotten the rails a bit loose, but still no luck in removing them.

Any suggestions?

haha, thanks for the responses :fdance: ... Took a soft mallet to all the roof rail knobs and started hammering in the correct direction and finally got them all loose! After 7 years of ownership finally got them removed!
