if 2 vehicles were built exactly with the same options and one was going to a customer in n.y. and one to a customer in say calif. would the invoice show the gm supplier price as being the same or does it vary from state to state? on a loaded $39k vehicle what would be the approximate price with the gm supplier discount ?

Go to edmonds.com and price on out for your area and then for another zip code and see if there is a difference. The site will show you MSRP and Invoice pricing.

Some northeaster states utilized CA emissions, so they are also charged extra for a non-Federal emission system. Can't say for sure, if this applies to NY on Hummers.
Discounting semissions, the price of a Hummer in the northeast is the same as the southwest. Shipping charges are the same for any vehicle shipped within the continental USA (I believe that might also include shipment to AK and HA.)

If it was built on the exact same day, with exactly the same options... prices should be the same.
