A while back I modified my H3 grille by taking H2 letters and affixing them on the chrome portion of my grille. The epoxy I used worked for about 5 months until a couple of days ago I noticed the "R" was gone! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Now I had a H U M M E! Well, I had to take the rest of the letters off http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif and start over again. I found another "R" from a used H2 grille because I couldn't find any on eBay. But this time I found an outfit in Appleton, WI who makes domed vinyl decals. So I purchased a set of red letters to place on top of the existing factory Grey HUMMER letters. I am pretty happy with the results and this time I am using 3M double sided tape. Here are a few pics. Yeah I got the pics to post! Thx jason! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well my fellow Badger I would love to see the Cardinal Red H3. We almost bought a red one but the yellow is better for my business logos...and I can place my Packer Magnets on it as swell...and look great at Lambeau.

I bought my H3 emblems on ebay in aug. 05, they did'nt come w/ adhesive, so I used 3M double stick adhesive to attach them to the grill.
so far so good! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Looks real good, I like the red. Mine fell off also so I went with stickers (supplied by Mark M). Black though since mine is white.

Yeah, Im happy with the results too. It will take some force to remove the letters now. The 3M tape is no joke. I should of went with the tape in the first place. You all seem to miss the passenger in the center armrest behind the sunglasses or maybe you did'nt. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Oh hell yeah! The McDonnell Douglas F4 phantom is one of my favs. Hell, I was born in 1967!!! I do admire guys who flew worked in and around the F4. Too bad that the Air Force is using them for target drones. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I saw one last year at Oshkosh which was in flyable condition. I think it came from Las Vegas? It sure was pretty bird and man, it was mean lookin. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif I got a picture of it from our C-130. It was parked in front of us on display. I'll have to dig up the pic and post it. But I do have something pretty cool. I collect aviation art and I have a lithograph of a F4 called, "The Animal" by Jim Doughtery. I have not framed it yet. But I did manage to buy a F4 patch on eBay to frame it with. Little did I know that the patch would come from Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam!! At least its authentic! Here is a pic of the Air Mail letter and patch.

The picture is called, The Animal. The art gallery where I buy my Artwork is in Orange County, California This print was signed by the artist and Gen. Robin Olds (Ret.) Who flew in WWII and as well in Vietnam.
WHERE CAN I GET THESE RED LETTERS?!?! What would you guys think of having those on my black rig?

Ely, you can get any color letters you want!
They custom make for any design you like. You could even do carbon fiber look of the Hummer letters. That would look cool on a black H3.
I posted there website. go back a couple of threads. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
