yeah I ment maumee http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif I bought mine from hummer of novi ( Novi Mich) Very pleasent to deal with. Took the wife and kid out to Ed Schmidt Hummer on a saturday what a dissapointment. There was 2salesman working on a saturday, one of them was working in his office with customers the other dissapeared after giving another couple keys for a test drive. Now there are 6 couples in the showroom along with us waiting to talk to a salesperson..... The couple returned from there test drive looking for the "lost salesman" to work out a deal on the H3 they just drove and ended up walking out because he was nowhere to be found after 15 minutes of waiting around. Needless to say we were not to far behind them, overall we waited 30 minutes in the showroom and didn't get so much as a hi from a salesman http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif. So I hope your experience with Ed Schmidt is a lot better that ours was.

That's terrible! I absolutely love Ed Schmidt Hummer. Everytime I've been there (which believe me has been many many many) I've always received excellent customer service. I'm sure Woody and Ben are probably sick of seeing me but they never say so. They always seem to have plenty of time to answer whatever questions I may have (and believe me I've asked a ton) and I don't ever feel pressured into purchasing. That really bums me out that you had a bad experience there. Of all the dealerships I've been to I never would've expected to hear it about them.
As for Hummer of Novi- I'm not even gonna get into my experiences with them.....let's just say I'm glad that you had a positive experience there. Hope you're enjoying your H3....I can't wait to get mine http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ok, just looked at the links, and have a question; hopefully, someone can answer.
What the hell is this about MI requiring an off road vehicle sticker and certification? Is this just another way for this damn state to reach into my pockets?
This state really irritates me. Sixteen years, I carried a weapon while working for Uncle Sam, went to work for GM and now that I have moved to MI, they made me take a stupid class so that I can obtain a permit to carry a weapon. They could have spent five minutes on the range with me, given me the laws to read (already knew what the laws were), and let me get the license. No, they had me sitting in a class where half the people didn't even know the differences between a semi-auto and a revolver, between .40 caliber and .22.
Now, someone is going to teach me how to drive off-road. I'll be danged if I will ever off-road in this state. I will continue to give my tourist dollars to TN/UT/AZ/CO, etc.
Sorry to all, I went off the thread.

I am supprised you had a run in with hummer of novi and at the same time glad you've had a good response with Ed schmidt hummer. But I called Ed schmidt's parts dept. today for a price on the rocker panel protectors and no one called me back http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif I was giving these guys a second chance at getting my buisness and the guy couldn't even call me back after taking all of the information from me http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
