View Full Version : Dealer messed up my H3 even more now
I got back my car from the dealer yesterday after it was looked at because of some light rattling in the front passenger side. After they told me that they hear it too but can't do anything about it until GM tells them to. What else can I do? Anyway, I got my H3 back and now my pedal starts to vibrate lightly and I can feel it knocking somewhat. I know they pressed the gas and brake pedal at the same time up to 2500 rpm to check out the rattling sound. Would this screw up anything in the H3? I also hear more noise now inside the H3. Anyone have any ideas why i'm getting this noise now?

The passenger ratlle seems to be a loose bolt. Simple as that if the article I read is accurate.
The pedal vibration is being reported by most of us and it has been said the problem is due to drivetrain issues or a "bad" rearend.
I have the pedal vibration too but I just think its a great foot massager as my rear end and drivetrain will need to actually break b4 I take mine in and complain.

I had a lot of rattling going on in my H3 too. Everytime I stepped on the gas or braked hard, I heard rattling.
I finally decided to look into it a little deeper. I had a Mag Light rolling around on the floor, my jack wasn't fastened in the back door, and a spare ball for the hitch was rolling around in the side compartment opposite the Sub. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
Seriously though, I should crawl underneath and make sure everything is tight. After off roading last time, I have heard some banging coming from under the vehicle.

If it was me, and a dealer made that statement to me, I would immediately call the assistance center and inform them the dealer is refusing to work on my vehicle. Dealers do not need permission from GM to fix problems. If dealers had to call GM everytime they did a warranty repair, GM would have to hire 10,000 people just to answer the phones and say it is ok.
