Has anyone tried remote tire pressure monitors (http://www.performanceproducts.com/ProductPage.aspx?ProductName=Tire+Pressure+Monitor ing+System&productid=109430&producttype=10&referer=1840&source=TM34M20)?

Looked kind of cool, or just another gadget?
I thought it might be nice to know especially if off road and running low pressures..

Cool. I wonder if they'd be in the way when an low pressure tire flexes? I'd like to be able to see if a tire has broken a bead when flexing. Peace of mind.

Drty, if they're anything like the ones on my Vette, they'll clear no problemo., They are very low profile.

Now, where the hell do you mount that display?

So when the battery dies you have to have your tire unmounted to change it?

A: The sensor batteries are rated to last at least 4 years.

I have seen some systems that are batteryless too.
