Does anyone know if there is a way to link a cell phone into the internal phone that comes with the H3? It would be nice to do that instead of using an earpiece or aftermarket apparatus.
Thank you,

If your phone is bluetooth, here is something that seems to be pretty good. Has caller id and you can scroll through your address book and sent/recieved history... no need to ever touch your phone while in the car.

If you are a verizon customer, you can call onstar and have the internal phone work work as an additional line in your cell phone account.

darthKarl is correct. There's no way without adding more equipment to make your phone work with the phone in the truck. You can call verizon through the onstar button and add a line of service for $10/month and it uses the same minutes as your verizon phone. But, of course, you need to have verizon service to begin with on your cell phone. You should try the voice activated dialing in the H3. It doesn't work to well and I find it to be pretty funny when it can't figure out what your saying. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well, I live in Mexico and Verizon doesn't have a friendly roaming package here. i am stuck with Tel-cel and Cingular. If there is additional equipment needed to purchase and add on, that's OK with me. When I first purchased the truck it came with x hours of useage and i was impressed with the sound quality of the phone system. I just would like to be able to link in two bluetooth devices to that system utilizing the microphone, speakers and phonebook system! any electronics gu-ru's out there have any ideas??? i know i can't be the first guy wanting to do this!!!

I have had no problems with the hands-free system, always knows what I'm saying. I'm pretty impressed on how well the voice recognition works actually. Now the voice recognition I had for my navigation....that pretty much sucked.

Maybe you are trying too hard...talking as if your truck is slow in the head. Kind of like old people trying to get the voice dialing on their cell phone working. "CAAAAAAAAAAALLLLL......................HOOOOOOOOOO OOOOMMMEEEE"
work damnit!

Get the parrot 3100 or 4100. They both work very well and offer far more functionality than the oem piece of poop. Easy to install as well.
