I was just online researching those !!! I was also contemplating real or not real bead locks. I did a search and there is some really good information on this forum.

Too cool, I want some http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Bead locks are not really necessary, maybe for the comp. rigs but not the Moab cruisers! I've wheeled Moab many times and not once had a prob w/ my tire beads. They look cool, but so do the simulated bead locks. I'm not about to pay $350.00 per wheel when there are plenty of durable off-road wheels out there for a lot less $. I'm looking at the
Xtreme Alloys #6079 alum.wheel w/ chrome finish and simulated bead lock. These will look awesome w/ 35" rubber and a 4" lift. (soon to be Installed).

I called these guys today. Champion Beadlock (http://www.championwheel.com/OFFROAD4X4.htm) Nothing yet for the H3, but they can use your existing aluminum wheels and turn them into beadlocks.

They can actually use any wheel. I'm looking at having him make a spare set just for wheeling. He said the same thing in regards to not really needing them, but, being that I won't always have hubby along with me on the trail, I do not want to get stuck with having to change a flat.

I think the beadlocks will at least reduce my chances of having to flirt my way thru a tire change on the trail http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
