Just ordered a K&N

I've been waiting to buy an air-intake system but could never find one i liked. I was just surfing around and noticed that K&N started making their systems for H2s. I'm been impressed with their products so i ordered one today. i should have it installed by the end of the week and i'll let you guys know how well it works.

well it came in the other day, but as i was installing it i ran into a problem where a nut didn't quite fit on the bolt. I messed with it for a while but realized they sent me the wrong size, no problem i can get four nuts to fit the screws. So i continued on, but the next problem was that the rubber studs that screw into the fender well wouldn't make it in at all. I was forced to give up. After calling K&N, they documented the problem and said it was a very new product and they would get all of the hardware worked out and send me the new parts. I'm not the happiest person about this, but maybe it will save other people problems in the future. Other than that the kit looks great. I can't wait to get it on and see how it works. I'll try to get some pics as I'm installing it so you guys can see.

Just curious, has your dealer's service dept weighed in on whether this voids the warranty? I've seen some postings that talked about possible problems with water in the engine. I have a K&N setup on my Wrangler and love it so I'd love to do the same for my H2 but don't want to risk problems.

K&N says their product doesn't void warranty. Besides that, I'll just watch the deep water and it should be fine.
