I was hoping you give me some idea how the door panels come off so I can replace factory speakers with aftermarket ones.

Check the impedance of the system and the new speakers before replacing them.

Thanks

Don't know for sure my self if there is, but I believe most factory systems these days use an external amp.
Could be wrong, it has happened before http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I tried to replace my Sub. No Luck. a 10" will not fit. the original sub is a dual voice coil 8ohm impedance on each. I tried a high end sub and almost blew the amp because the one I put in was single coil 4ohm. The amp which is to the right of the sub overheated and cut out! I put the orig in all is fine.

Good info WPB. I have a couple of dual voice coil 10s but no 8s. Does anyone no of some highend dual voice coil 8s?
