I've spoken with Ernie numerous times about doing some major mods to my own truck. Personally I'd rather have the Lingenfelter 427TT installed in both of my vehicles, rather then a big ol' blown engine. I know Ernie was concerned with tranny problems, as well as drivetrain problems. It should hold up ok for around town driving, but a few good launches and you'll drop the tranny right out from under the truck http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I talked with a few people about the possibility of custom mating a 480LE tranny to handle the extra load of power, but you're talking some serious cash and work. If you're really in the market for some power, I'd highly recomend Lingenfelter, talk to KenP about it, as him about his truck http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
By the way Ken, if you read this, you still down for grabbin a beer when I head down that way? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Hummm just got word back from lynch hummer, most of what I want to do would void the factory warrenty anyways, maybe I should ge a used one and spend the extra money on more add-on's the a voided warrenty does me little good.

On a side note there is a customizer in Cailf, I can't remember his name for the life of me but he built a kick A$$ custom Surburban for Will Smith, I wanted to see if he could do something with an H2 intieor, anyone remember his name?

He used the same leather Rolls and Lear use and some nice carpet.

I have read nothing but positives abut the LPE 427TT. They had an Escalade for sale, around 90k. There is much written about it in other GM trucks and cars on other forums.

I have NEVER read anything, negative or positive, about BPP anywhere but on their site. What I mean by that is I have not read reviews on line from actual owners.

Grim, certainly. PM me and I will give you my number.

I too haven't heard/read much as far as customer reviews of BPP and they're work/service, other then the small tidbits I read on the Corvette Forums I'm a member of. It seems BPP is really into the drag scene, they have at least 2 or 3 custom built Vette drag cars, and maybe a few others. I know they run NHRA as well as other events. Kinda seems like a company thats more into they're professional racing, but makes some side money off they're product lines. I personally purchased the Stage 2B package from BPP, and I had great dealings with them. Fast response times, very nice people, and the chicks were hitting on me asking me to send them my pictures http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

The 19mpg @ 55mph is nice and all but who drives 55 anymore. They need to redo some testing and get mileage that close @ 65-70mph then I will be impressed. Until then if I want to go that fast i.e. 1/4 mile and 0-60 I have a bike.

The US standard for MPG you see printed on the sticker is the vehicle travelling at 55mph.

Of course you are always looking stupid about something, no need to be different here.

I normally poke down the highway at 70Ish but even if I got 15 MPG I would be happy as a clam.

Anyone seen any good sites for customizing a H1 ?? not a lot of bling bling for them that I can find.
