Hello All,

I have an 04 h2 which I truly and dearly love. The gas prices do not really bother me at the moment, since I do not drive that much as of yet. I pay about $100 and usually get 250 mpg. But the rumors of $5.00 a gallon from the current $3.30 a gallon, will make me think twice about the rig.

How high does the gas prices have to go for you not drive anymore?

Are these jump prices short term or long term?

A bazillion dollars. But my commute is from the kitchen to my office downstairs http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Even if it weren't, I'd still drive the H2.

Odd. My local gas prices rose around Easter and have been falling for the past week or so. So I'd say short term.

You should have invested in engergy securities earlier.

I'd drive it even if gas prices were $10 a gallon, just to shove it in other's faces. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That being said...I also work from home, so I only drive it for errands. It's a toy for me, not a necessity.

If it gets to bad I will just open my own gas station and give huge discounts to SUV owners and fill up for free. I will charge Prius owners double to make up for any lost money.

I'll just fill my tank 3/4 with gasoline and top it off with storm drain water.

I will drive mine till the wheels fall off..I love my H2 and drive it daily. With that said, unlike most ppl. I drive mine 35 miles one way every day to work! I refuse to cave into them!

YOU missed the joke. You said you drive 35 one way to work. You made it sound like the truck only made one part of the journey and did not do the round trip thing. HAVE SOME COFFEE and CHILL the **** OUT.

I just had my 06 H2 modified for better mpg and better hp. Only problem is I have to use at least 93 octane in it now. I guess if I can afford an H2 I could afford gas up to at least $10 per gallon. If others can't afford gas, they should take a bus. Not trying to be rude, but this capitalist system has worked well rewarding those who earn it.

Paid $145US ($160CAN) to fill the tank and still driving the H2 around grinning ear to ear. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

.....Or I could be mildly retarded.

When it hits $200/tank .... Maybe.

All it takes is for me to start working on the truck and then it's no drivey for long time.

well I just bought my '06 H2 and am not trading it in anytime soon! Traded in an '04 Avalanche so the mileage really wasnt much of a concern since the Avalanche was a gas hog too!
