You need to purchase a waterproof glove, a bottle opener (preferably keychain), and a small absorbant cloth. Otherwise you may get frostbite and blisters. K thanx.

See you soon.

Truly yours,

Ofcourse, I thought we made it clear a long time ago but I don't think they understand yet. They keep talking about UPC, tie-rods and trail gear. Nothing about bringing what they really need to survive.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

What kind of support does this event offer in terms of damage and breakage and can I assume all damage is covered by the sponsors?

What are the dates?

Are there any costs associated or does Hummer pick this up?

Sorry for all the questions:

Thanks

Only for those who are going, it's a private pm only for those that are going.

There will be posts in the open forum of pictures and posts after the trip has begun.

There are no sponsors. Everyone going is responsible for their own costs and vehicles.

Other than the forum members would help each other out if someone's rig breaks as far as trying to patch it up and get it moving.

I wish! If the above was the case I would be having mine shipped out there right now and flight in.

This event is just some folks going wheeling. Even at our club events and Hummer Happenings we make you sign a waiver that you understand the risks to yourself and your vehicle and that you WILL NOT hold someone else responsible for damage. As far as support goes, if a truck is broken, the group generally tries to fix it or at least fix it enough to get it to a shop. If you are looking for someone to pick up the tab for you breaking your truck, I'd say wheeling isn't a good idea for you.

S
sfox I wasn’t sure so that’s why I asked the questions. I saw the video trailer and some of the other postings and assumed this was a professionally sponsored event, sorry my bad.

If these guys did charge fees and offered some type of guaranteed assistance I’m sure their event would grow to be a lot bigger and more fun.
