Airaid Intake Question

I have approximately 15,000 miles on my Airaid filter. When I look at it it looks dirty..but then again what do I know. Anyway...I went ahead and purchased the cleaning kit anyway. How often should the filter be cleaned and reoiled? 15,000 miles seems too low notwithstanding my thought that it looks dirty. To anyone that has cleaned theirs...is it easy to do?

I did not have the AiRaid long enough to clean, only a couple of months. But I had a K&N for quite some time on another vehicle.

Just follow the instructions. It is very easy.

BUT, make sure it is very dry. Then oil it lightly. Too many people over oil the filters and end up with oil fouling their MAF. That would not be covered under warranty.
