With Deer season here, for us Bow Hunters, and coming soon for the rest of you easy shot takers!
Here's a nice helpful link.
It serves pretty useful when butchering, and can help when shot placement is questionable!

Cool Ric
I'm like You I go with the bow. I have to confess though I hunt with what is legal. If I use My 300 win. Mag I'm working for long range shots.
But, like You I would rather bow hunt if i could get into a place where there are no guns. I love to stalk and work hard enough or quiet enough to walk up on to the bed and catch them there. I guess if the deer pulled his gun and shot Me he could claim home invasion and self defense. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Sounds like too much work...I'd rather just hit the accelerator rather than the brake and throw the carcass in the back...like it's going to damage the front end..that's what the cattle guard is for http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It's not so much the deer meat, it's the hunt that makes it rewarding!
Just like with women, it's not the prize, as much as the hunt! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
