Use it for wheeling and then put some shooting tables in the back & a nice canvas canopy and go squirrel slaughtering.:beerchug:

I'm getting one for the farm, eventually. Just none has shown up close by that's been in decent shape.

You can get some in the 20K mileage range with less than 500hrs on them.

My buddy had one, we'd get 10-20 people in it and cruise through town.
went to the drive-in movies w/ it, took the Honda generator and a blender, made drinks and watched the movies.
they are a babe magnet, seems they all want to go for a ride.

Be prepared for about 4MPG on a good day, and no power steering. On the plus side, it will burn gas, diesel, kerosene, ethanol, rubbing alcohol, and just about any other flammable liquid you can think of. Oh yeah, they are a gutless wonder too- so gutless it's a wonder it moves.:D

You just need to add one of those slide down beds the car haulers use and you could be the number one H2 recovery vehicle on all those mud bog and rock crawling runs. She's a beauty. the Reb

It would actually be perfect for driving through swamps knocking down trees.

I don't know if they have swamps in the northwest, you might have to settle for rivers.

My last command I had two duece and halfs. One was a 1963 Kiaser and one was a AMC of unknown year. Almost rock proof but the soldiers still found ways to break them. The new LMTV are a huge improvement but we will see if they are still around in 40 years like the 2.5 tons

Re: 1972 AM General M35A2 6x6

We had M923, five tons. They looked a lot like the deuce and a half's, but were a little more capable.

Those damn things could ford water like nothing else, something like 75 inches, or six feet and still be knocking down trees.
