Air Conditioning Died

My AC went down this weekend. The dial lights work but I have no blower fan and only a very light flow of cool air trickling from the vents. I checked the fuses and relays - nada. I also disconnected the battery and reconnected it, thinking that the computer may have needed reset. Still nothing.

Suggestions? I have an appointment with the garage on Wednesday. :crying:

Two problems I've had when I had my 3 first there is a resistor on the blower motor, 10 dollar part behind 2 screws don't know exactly where, my buddy replaced it for me, his goes out on his GMC Canyon about every 1 1/2 years since he owned it also if you drop your glove box all the way down you can see a large harness plug, mine was bad if you wiggle it around and push back together it may work. My service department made me mad on that one because I took it in with no blower showed them the plug and gave it a thump and it started working, they kept the truck for the day and said it never messed up again so there wasnt any thing wrong later it messed up again and back to the shop it went.

Good Luck, Steven

Many thanks for the info! I'll check it out. Does anyone know where that resistor is located and how it may be accessed?
