More profession tranny cooler install
So years ago I installed a tru maxx tranny cooler on my 04 H2. Worked great. But now as I am getting ready to install the same cooler on my 08 (significantly nicer vehicle) I am wanting to use better hoses and clamps than the ones included in the kit. I used the included rubber lines and hose clamps on my 04 but was always afraid of a hole rubbing in a hose or a clamp coming loose.
With the 08 I want to avoid those worries and use metal lines and more OEM type fasteners. Does anybody know the best way to go about this? |

Tanny shop? I'm pretty sure you'd need flaring and pipe bending tools unless you went with a steel braided type line.
Is the 08 THAT much better than the older model? |

You could try -AN fittings from Russell which is basically Edelbrock. I used them for the first time on my GTO. Metal to metal connections, no thread sealer needed, very professional look. I will warn you though, those damn little fittings get pricey after you buy a handful of them.
