Back in a Hummer

Hi all, Well its been over a year since I sold my 06 H3. Really missed that thing. Had 2 other new rides, but nothing came close to my old friend. So I decided to get back into a H3T. :excited: I've had it for allmost 3 weeks now and by far its the best yet. Its the base model with a few extras. Pretty much dont wheel much anymore, so I cut a couple corners, price wise to get back into a Hummer, and keep truck payments in my budget. Well here it is. Not many extras, after market 33's, 2 1/2 turns on the t-bars, and vent visors. Good to see some familiar names still roaming this forum...:D

Re: Back in a Hummer
Very nice, welcome back!
I'm thinking they need to make a spot on the window sticker for a Surgeon General's warning: "Hummers can be addicting and ruin your chances of ever being satisfied with any lesser vehicle." :jump: |

:beerchug: welcome back
I think a slantback bed cover would finish off your H3T |

Re: Back in a Hummer
What tail light guards and roof rack did you have on your old H3? Good looking T

Re: Back in a Hummer
Nice, CONGRATS! You're getting the snow and cold up there to use it in :)

Re: Back in a Hummer
what tires are those? they look like cooper discoverer stt's.

Re: Back in a Hummer
Ryan, It was a Rola roof rack and I cant remember what brand the tail light covers were. I had blacked out bling fever with my old H3, and I hope not to get to carried away this time. Extras are alot more costly now than 3 years ago. Jeeze a fuel door is around 200 $ now. ouch !! Hummaddict,, yes the tires are coop's. Got them for my last ride that starts with the letter J. What a mistake that was.. Got them at Farm and Fleet here in the midwest on a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Couldnt pass it up. The best thing was D&D Hummer here in eastern Iowa let me swap those tires to replace the Oreo cookie tires that were on the H3T for nothing. Well I think they stold my trade in allittle... Wanted 35's but these will do nicely for now. And Jim,,,, yes it's colder than Fark up here. Tried to wash the H3t that morning. -2 below, The old ShamWow dosnt suck up Ice..:) See ya ....

BTW in my area I see plenty of H3's, but I never met H3T on the street yet |

Re: Back in a Hummer
Nice lookin' T! I drove past my local Hummer dealer to purchase from D&D Hummer. Mark C. sold me my T.

Re: Back in a Hummer
I wouldn't get the slantback cover. you cant see s**t behind you with them on. I personally bought a Diamonback X cover. Its the bomb. If you actually use the truck for offroad or camping its the way to go.

Re: Back in a Hummer
Your H3T looks great! I bought one last week after 8 months of lusting. Just like you, I was a former H3 owner ('06 H3) and after trading my H3, there was something missing. I managed to get back in an H3T without all the bells and whistles my H3 had. I had narrowed it down to black or red and black won out. I couldn't be happier with the H3T. The 3.7L I-5 is a big upgrade from my '06 3.5L I-5.
