I just installed an overhead DVD console. I tested using power plugs and everything is a go for permanent power. I would like the DVD to power like the stock radio. Do I need to splice into the radio connector or is there an easier solution?

I tapped into the hazard switch light that comes on when the car is running - it was very easy access...
