man, ya'll have some time invested in that truck! Im not a huge fan of suede since its kinda never uniform, but it still looks and feels cool.

Ok, got a few questions.

One, tire setup. Those look like 24's, but what about those tires. Also, the backspacing on the wheels, which im assuming are the DUB brand.

Two, those front turn signals. Those are the LED types, right? Are those smoked or white?

and finally, how in the hell did you get that h2 signal working? How much and where do i sign to get one?

nice truck!!

Not sure where that one-fiddy went. Maybe you're talking Canadian.:giggling:
Nice suede, though. Why didn't you swap out the steering wheel, the hex head screws on the dash, redo the entire seats and not just the centers and WTH did you do to the vent on the passenger' side?

All that and not one single thing for off road added?

Re: What $150K Can do to an H2!!

Well for those of you who think this is lame "MONSTERMATT". Let me say this truck is a daily work vehicle. The owner runs constuction sites here in Canada and drives his $250K (yes CDN, LOL) vehicle on the sites. In ditches through mud holes etc. and of course the famous winter elements here. He just does it with much more comfort and style then most :D ! It beats on this truck so hard it is in having the tranny replaced for the 3rd time in 4 months. This time he is having a beefed up transfer case and tranny installed rather then going the warranty root. Oh ya, this is a 6 month old truck, BooYaa!!

tomp: Maybe I should point out this is a Hummer. It can pretty much do anything you want it to do off road bone stock. As well take a look at the 37in mudders on it. Those aren't your panzie street pavers!

DRTYFN: Well I wanted to do alot more stuff, such as what you had mentioned but in this case time was a concern. We built this in 3.5 week and delivered it to the customer. The pic that you are looking at there is of a premium A/C vent from Manticore. I wasn't finished installing the rest of the accessories on the interior when that pic was taken.

K9sH3: Because he has the $$$ that allow him to. I think if we all had limitless bank account we would do a whole lot more with our rides.

Re: What $150K Can do to an H2!!

I still say you've grossly inflated the actual amount spent. And 3 1/2 weeks is a loooooong time to get a vehicle ready - UNLESS it's your 1st H2. Don't try to exaggerate things - be truthful & realistic. People here will appreciate it and you'll possibly earn some business. Not likely now, though.

Did you by chance ever drive this up Kingston way? I had an H2 that looked identical to this (well, it was night time, but I remember the large rims, the clear rear roof lights, and the webbed roof rails) pass me on the 401, and one of the headlights wasn't working. I was in a grey H3 with 35's full dry mud.

Wow ! that's way too much bling bling in my opinion !! And, the interior is too busy / too much ! I'd get a headache driving around in that. Looks like a whore house on wheels ... :D

That is exactly what they are on 24" rims. They have no value off-road at all. If you are going to try and educate people, at least have some vague idea what you are talking about.

I'm envious, I wish I could tack on $30k worth of crap to truck and mark it by $120k. I'd be very happy.

Man Phil.....who pissed in your Wheaties????

Guess you are pissed the lift hasnt arrived yet:giggling: :giggling: :giggling:

Just playing with ya;)

Which is fine, there is just no need to pretend that they are something they are not.

No, you are 100% correct with that. 24" rims WILL NOT go offroad. I am thinking the guy was trying to just say the owner doesnt care about function and if he bust the wheels he will just buy another set.

Re: What $150K Can do to an H2!!

DRTYFN: Well let me explain where the $$ went & the time. To start off with every planstic piece on the interior and exterior except 3 has been sanded (detexturized) and colour matched or wrapped in suede. All the colour matched pcs were also treated with 3M tape. This is so they don't scratch when you use the truck as well when the truck is driving and the panels rub together. The original bumpers were smoothed out and Chromed. This is an enormous cost and very time consuming because since they are stamped pcs they warp when heated. This would distort the chrome, so you have to then smooth the bumper back out. Now when you look there is no tow hooks or winch reciever in the front. This was countless man hours. The back was the same way. The Passenger side grab handle on the dash was about $4500 to design and CNC. This is not a store bought pc. That took alot of fine tuning to get it to mate right to the dash without looking hack. Nobody we could find made an after maket pc to replace the factory handle there probably because of the level of difficulty. I thought it might have been because of the airbag but after checking with the dealer as to how the bag opens this was not the case. There is so much attn to detail on this truck it is crazy. The whole thing was sound deadened with dyno-mat. The TV's, the subs, the back up sensors, tinted LED taillights, train horn, etc. All I initially listed for MODS was the major things. We also did all the little things that almost every Hummer guy up here does.

Also regarding the $$$ keep in mind all the bolt-ons came from the US so we have exchange on it, duties, brokerage, the shop's tax and then the 15% goverment tax. So if this was done in the US the cost would have been probably around $85K USD.

And finally YES it was our 1st Hummer. Usually we work on the exotic sports cars and Bling them out. Does this Hummer have to much chrome, on the inside I agree (but do what the customer wants), on the outside I don't agree. I think the customer stopped just before going overboard.

RazM: No the truck has never been to Kingston. Since I don't own the truck the way I know is that the truck doen't have those webbed trussets (roof rail supports) on it. They are more conservative with plain round holes.

obzidian: The rims are 24in DUB Big Homie 8s and they have 15 offset. The tires are Kuhmo Road Venture MT KL71 37/14/24. You can check our when site www.esscustoms.com for contact info. and call us for the 3D indicators. Ask for Dave!
