background check, which one

hi guys,

I need recommendation for a dependable website that does complete background check, including criminal record check... I used Intelius the other day, and the info I got for nearly $60 seems somewhat short. Maybe it 's OK, but I wonder if there is a better provider out there.

thanks for advice

Intelius is good stuff. If the info seemed short there probably was not that much info on the particular person you were searching. What exact info you look for?

well I needed to see if person in question has any criminal records. OK Intelius reports 3 recent offenses for that particular person, but won't say any details unless I decide to "Confirm Case at the Courthouse", which is another $45 per case... well, since the person has 3 records since 2005, I don't think I'll be hiring

I also ran a check on another person who admitted having offense long time ago (20+ years), and Intelius didn't find any record...

that's why I wondered if there is any better site to go through.

thanks! - that is an interesting link; I checked it out right away - unfortunatelly, seems that it includes only certain counties, and the one I need is not included in the list of available records. also, most records there don't include criminal case... oh well, thanks anyway. I guess I'll just stick with intelius or public-records-now (ssem like similar price as intelius; $20 extra for criminal records).
