I spoke to a friend fo mine at Magnuson today.
They will have a supercharger out for the H3 in early 06. The new SC will be at the SEMA show in November. I am going as I do each year and will get the info on it. I can't wait to install one on an H3--did many on H2s and their products are fantastic. |

WOW
where can I get any info and where to get it. PS just curious, how much millage to you lose with just everyday driving..with an SC |
I will have them once they are out to the public in early Jan.
Gas mileage will stay the same unless you put your foot into it--which you WILL do. Normal driving will not affect gas mileage. |
You lose mileage when you put your foot into it without the SC, so sounds like a win win to me
![]() Any guess on the price? |
Sorry, no info on price yet--will have pricing in November after SEMA

What will the cost be?
|
The one for Colorado is now $3,850.00(Nomal Price $4,500.00). So, H3's one should be around that price.

I had a supercharger on my Wrangler and it was great. I didn't notice any loss of MPG but keep in mind that I had to use premium gas. So it will cost you more at every fill-up.

I don't know anything about these guys or how complete the kit is. Intercooled? Not sure on that either. But it will give you about 90HP.
|
That would be great to put on my rig!!
How does a supercharger affect your warranty from GM? |

The kit comes from RK sport.
Go to http://www.rksport.com and you can submit questions about the supercharger. They offer it for $4365.00. |

How does a supercharger affect your warranty from GM? </div></BLOCKQUOTE> If the SC is not a factory (GM) authorized addition to the vehicle, chances are the entire powertrain (engine/trans/TC, axles, etc.) will be voided; other parts of the warranty such as A/C, radio, steering, etc., should not be affected. They do have to relate the addition of the SC to the failed part. It can get pretty tricky, but from the manufacturers point of view, this is not an authorized item, and it could cause undue stress to parts of the engine. If it is an authorized GM SC, and installed by a trained technician, than the warranty is not affected. |
